Weaving through the coastlines of Washington
Sometimes you climb thousands of feet, to only see a few feet.
Warmer swimming is soon ahead - the ice covered lakes are in their final stages of thawing, the winter snows are liquifying, and the sun is beginning to shine regularly. Who else is stoked for summer?
I’ve driven by this park for years and never stopped - mist out on this view for all that time.
clear and unlimited visibility.
#ad Sometimes we need a little flavor! Bai is infused with antioxidants and NO artificial sweeteners. When flavor is necessary, swing by a Kroger brand store to grab one of the many great tasting Bai options. @Krogerco @FredMeyerStores @drinkbai #baiatkroger
Hey you, look at this bamboo!
Would you rather climb the trees or swim in the lake?
He makes a mess in the tent, he doesn’t assist with set up or break down, he goes to sleep late and wakes up too early, he snores, he always steals food, he walks too fast, and he doesn’t understand how zippered doors function - but he is still my favorite backpacking partner.
I can’t help but wonder what’s around the next bend of this valley - probably bears, a river, and more mountains...I might need to return, so that I can find out for certain.
I love that summer affords the opportunity to start a trail at 6pm and finish just as the final light fades for the night. This is a perfect example from an evening stroll in Oregon last year - What are you most excited for this summer?
Theres comfort in the classics. What was the first trail you ever hiked?
All to ourselves.
when in doubt, go north
What if every morning looked like this?
Went ten miles round trip without seeing a single person on this trail - that had never happened to me prior. It’s a strange feeling knowing that you are truly alone in the wilderness.
Look out that window!
